On December 16th, 1991, Captain Robert Hair joined the IAFF Local 168 and Paducah Fire Department Family. August 29. 2014, he will receive his final alarm. At 1840, Captain Robert Hair will be retiring from the life he has known for almost 23 years, to pursue many more adventures in his life. I have had the pleasure and honor to work with this extraordinary man. I have learned a lot from him, and I could only wish that I could have worked with him more. He is a pleasure to work with at the stations. His cool, calm demeanor from the face of danger to the daily station life, is his trademark. The way he is with every single person he talked to, is nothing short of a class act. Robert is an asset to not only IAFF Local 168 but PFD as well.
